Fee Options

The Law Office of Daniel N. Steven may be retained to provide legal services via phone consultation, e-mail, facsimile of documents, U.S. mail or in person  The method of delivery will depend upon the problem and will be determined jointly between Mr. Steven and yourself.  One of the following fee options will apply:

1. Flat Fee.  Mr. Steven may be retained on a flat-fee basis for specific services such as drafting or reviewing a contract, or preparing a will.  See Flat Fee Services and Estate Planning Fee Schedule.

2. Hourly Rate.  For most services, Mr. Steven charges on an hourly basis. The hourly rate is $215.

3. Monthly Retainer. Mr. Steven may accept you or your firm as a monthly retainer account.   In exchange for a  flat monthly fee, you are entitled to unlimited phone consultations and a reduced hourly rate. This program is designed for small business and start up situations which may have an ongoing need for services.
